Signed up for Blogathon 2002

If you don't already think I am mad, you will now. I've signed myself up to blog for 24 hours non-stop. Why? Charity!

Starting at 2pm GMT on Saturday 27th of July, myself and hundreds of other blogerrs will take part in a 24 hour blog, posting to our blogs every half an hour. The event is called Blogathon 2002 and is purely for charitable causes.

As a charity I've chosen Doctors Without Borders (or Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)). My cousin used to volunteer for them and I've heard stories that would make the hardest of men weep.

Can you trust me and the Blogathon team? Yes. You give the money straight to the charity after the event.

What will I be doing for 24 hours? Glad you asked. Codestore will be completely redesigned to take in all the fixes and improvements I've had planned for some time now. What I do and learn in the process will be faithfully reported for you all to see. Hence you gain from it as well as the desperately needy of the world. Brilliant!

Think I'm mad now? Whether you do or not I hope you can find it in you to dig deep and sponsor me. No need to give any cash until I've done it and then you give it direct to the charity....
