The trouble with running a website like this for six years (for me at least) is remembering everything that I've written about. Not only what but where as well. There are lots of times I have to use the search feature, hoping to try and find what I know is in there somewhere.

Occasionally I'll be reminded of my own content by other people. The image to the right is a part of FeedDemon. To keep an eye on who is mentioning this site out there (if anybody) I've set up a "watch" called "me, me, me". This monitors all RSS feeds I've subscribed to for either Jake or Codestore in the title and description. It's nice to see people do refer to this site from time to time.

Anyway, yesterday I noticed Vince DiMascio has released an updated version of my code to help avoid replication conflicts on the web. Code that I had all but forgotten I had ever made available.

Reminders like this are good. Especially in this case where Vince has updated my code and created a cross-browser version. Something I really should have done myself. If only I'd remembered it needing do that is.

So, in lieu of me ever getting round to updating my version go and have a look at Vince's. It's a useful little script.
