Android A Go-Go

The Galaxy Tab I mentioned I'd bought yesterday arrived this morning and - after an hour or two of faffing about - I managed to get Flash Builder setup to run projects on it.

Here you can see the demo Expense tracker app:

Next I'll be having a go at making my own apps. Not only for Android but also for iOS once the updated happens in June. I'll share anything interesting I find along the way.

All I need now is a customer to actually ask me to make a mobile app. At least now I'm ready, if and when they do... anybody need a mobile app creating?

Why don't you mailshot your existing Notes/Domino customers asking them if they would like any of that data surfaced on a mobile-device. Tag line of "give your Notes data a new lease of life" or something?

I'll be following your progress with interest. I'm going down the Titanium Appcelerator route at the moment. Good fun, challenging and a nice change from the old stuff.

      "existing Notes/Domino customers"?

      If only ;-)

They've all left me behind in their rush to jump on the SharePoint bandwagon.

I will make a point of letting the few customers I have left and any new ones that come along that I have the capability to create apps for "all" platforms...

One thing I really ought to do is update Rockall's website to better reflect what "we" can do.
